When I write my captions, all I really do is stare at the image and wait for the words to pop up in my head. I don’t actually WRITE the captions, I just listen and write down what I hear. I’m as much on the receiving end of my captions as you are, if not more. If you don’t believe me, send me any of my captions, and watch what it does to me (discord: lilith_and_siren). I just can’t resist them, no matter how hard I try. They burn into my brain when I write them, and then when I see them again, they hit like PTSD. They instantly turn me into an obedient, submissive, pump dog.
